Okay, Democrats. You win. Iraq is the next Vietnam, as you insisted on claiming for so long. But guess what? It's your fault — just as it was with Vietnam. I'll tell you why in a minute, after I finish congratulating you on your success with winning Congress.
Yes, congratulations. You didn't earn it, but you deserved it more than we did. You have attained the power you wanted to attain, yet you are still the greater of two evils. But as I said in my last column, less is expected of you, so that's okay.
Everyone still knows how godless, obnoxious, treasonous, malevolent, annoying and irresponsible you are. But everyone also knew that we Republicans, whom everyone expects more of, were losing it and needed to get our crap together, and that's possibly why we've been suspended from school.
